Can’t make it during the day? This time is for you! Lots of fun and laughter as you start, finish or just continue to work on any and all of your projects!

Strip Club with Laura Abbott

Oswego, 3 Saturdays, January 23rd, February 10th, March 10th, 10:30 am—12:30 pm

The winter will fly by when you join the Gals at the “Strip Club” on Saturday mornings! No pole necessary— just bring your rotary cutter! Turn 2-1/2″ strips into an adventure and create six 10″ blocks using a variety of techniques. That’s 6 new blocks and personalized instruction on a new ruler that you’ll love using! The possibilities are endless in putting these and many more blocks together in a style all your own. Learn lots and have fun in this technique piecing series. Fee: $30

Paper Piecing with Julie Burger

Oswego, Monday, January 23rd, 5:30 pm– 8:30 pm

How about trying paper piecing? This wonderful technique makes perfect blocks with precision points by sewing on the lines. How easy is that? Join Julie in the class that includes the pre-printed patterns. Make one block in class and go on to try any of the creative paper piecing patterns available. This is an excellent opportunity to learn this skill as many of those intricate patterns use paper piecing to obtain the perfect points. Fee includes pattern: $25

The Cabo Bucket Bag with Pat Osetek

Oswego, Tuesday, January 24th, 5:30 pm—8:30 pm

Spend the evening with Pat and create this beautiful and very functional bag (seen at right). Loaded with pockets all around the inside and the perfect size—this bag will soon be your go-to bag for all of your needs Fee: $25

Bailey Island Hobo Bag with Janet Dehm

Oswego, 2 Thursdays, January 26th and February 2nd, 5:30 pm—8:30 pm

Looking for something different? The Bailey Island Hobo is for you! Create a quilted fabric with 2 1/2 “ strips and batting and then use it to create a large (tote bag) or small (purse) bag. Great way to use all of those leftover pieces of batting that you have been saving! Fee: $25

Heart Table Topper or Runner with Julie Burger

Just in time for you to bring some good “heartfelt” cheer to your table. Create a beautiful, paper-pieced table runner or table topper with Julie that is perfect for the up-coming season’s festive table. Change the colors, change the season! You’ll want to make several for gifts! Fee: $25

Crash Course with Julie Burger

Oswego, 4 Mondays, February 13th, 27th, March 12th, 26th, 5:30 pm—8:30 pm

Always wanted to make that beautiful quilt, but were afraid to try? Learn the step by step process for creating a lasting heirloom! From start to finish you will use all the tips and tricks for creating your own beautiful quilt. Class instructions include everything from cutting and piecing techniques all the way through layering, quilting, binding and much more! Time is scheduled between classes to allow students to complete out of class work. Fee: $65

Do you Zentangle? We’ve all doodled and colored in grade school classes! Bring some doodling to your quilting! It’s fast, it’s fun and . . . it’s sooooooo easy! You will practice some free motion quilting, but the great thing is that it doesn’t have to look good or be perfect! By the time we do some coloring, the quilting will all but disappear—leaving an intriguing work of art behind! Fee: $25

Potato Chip Bag with Janet Dehm

Oswego, Sunday, February 26th, 1:00 pm—3:00pm

Bet you can’t make just one! This fast and easy small purse is perfect for taking a quick trip to store or an evening out where you don’t want to carry a large bag. Three fat quarters is all it takes! Before you finish the first one, you’ll be planning the next one!. Fee $10.

Early Blooms Rug Hooking with Melonie Unger

Oswego, Saturday, March 3rd, 10:30 am—12:30 pm

Rug hooking is an old-fashioned craft that is gaining popularity again. Join Melonie and learn to rug hook with wool strips or needle punch with heavy yarn on a cloth base. Create a 17×17 floral mini rug or wall hanging. Begin with transfer-ring your pattern onto the base cloth, then get busy hooking or punching your design! Experienced hookers and beginners will enjoy working on this project through out the winter. Fee: $20

Embellishment 101 with Janet Dehm

Oswego, 2 Thursdays, March 8th and 15th, 5:30 pm—8:30 pm

Always wanted to find out what some of those crazy products were on the shelf, but were afraid to take the plunge? This is the class for you! In class one you will learn how to use paint stixs to create designs on fabric, play with Angelina fibers, yo-yos, kanzashi flowers and wool to create a variety of embellishments. Class two puts all your efforts to work in creating a stunningly simple embellished bag. Fee: $25

Felted Knit Bowls with Melonie Unger

WARNING! This project is very addictive! Start off with some simple knitting in wool yarn and end up with a beautiful and soft bowl. You will make lots and lots! Melonie will take you through the steps from yarn to bowl. Basic knitting skills recommended. Fee: $25

Split One with Peg Stone

The “Split One” quilt pattern is about as simple as you can get, but the results are dramatic. Choose three large scale focus prints and a solid for framing (black will always work!) and let Peg guide you through a Snow Day design original. Fee: $25

Feathered Jewels Hummingbird Wool Table Mat with Melonie Unger

Winter (or the end of winter!) is the perfect time to work on wool projects. This fun class features Melonie’s practical tips for working with wool appliqués. Learn the ins and outs of transferring designs, cutting, fusing and embroidery with wool. Your base will be ready and your stitching will be started in class. Create a beautiful hummingbird table mat or wall hanging that makes a wonderful gift. Fee: $20
